More About Us.....

What is lace?

Lace is a fabric with deliberate holes.  Lacemakers create with fibre, patterns and tools such as bobbins, needles, and shuttles.  Sometimes a piece of lace can be more about the holes than it is about the rest of the fabric.

There are many forms of lace such as crochet, bobbin, tatting, needle, knitted and macrame, to name just a few.  Within these forms there are many more styles of lace.
